I don’t think I’ve read 10 books that were released in 2016…

June 21: Top Ten Favorite 2016 Releases So Far This Year (hosted by Broke and Bookish)

When I read the topic I thought I was totally screwed. I didn't think I had read 10 new releases this year.... but almost!

New Releases I've Already Read
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is a comic about a little genius girl who accidentally gets involved with a time travel machine fiasco. It's super fun and the pictures are great!

The Wicked and Divine is a beautiful comic about the old gods as young adults. The third trade paperback was released this year, so technically, the issues included in it were not published in 2016, but GET OFF MY BACK! THIS IS *MY* BLOG, I DO WHAT I WANT!

My favorite of this batch is probably The Great American Whatever. Tim Federle is awesome as the audiobook reader.

I wrote reviews for:

New Releases that are Still #TBR
I’m not someone who usually keeps track of book releases, but Winner’s Kiss by MarieRutkoski is the final in a series that I love. I bought it the day it was released in March so that I could make sure the cover matched the other two that I already own. But I haven’t read it yet. Here's my review for book 1, Winner's Curse.

There are two books I put in a Goodreads folder when I read about them as a reminder to find them again later:

The Last True Love Story by Brenden Kiely – September 13. I read Mr. Kiely’s debut novel The Gospel of Winter and the book he co-wrote with Jason Reynolds, All American Boys. I’m interested to read this one.

Revenge and the Wild by Michelle Modesto - I must have liked the description. I have no other knowledge of this book or this author! Still sounds good, though.
